Maxim takes showers with me! Last night, he got soaking wet. Often, I
have to towel him off!!! He loves that - thinking it's petting. He just LOVES brushing, stroking, and
petting; the more
the better! Hugs.......Inge ![]() 3-07 |
Holly Borchard's Trendar Bengals really proved to me how wonderful, compassionate, and affectionate they are when we lost power in Michigan's ice storm in January 07. Holly truly breeds sweet Bengals. Our power went out one Sunday at 4:30 am and didn't come back until Monday at 4 pm - about 36 hours with no power - resulting in 38 F inside my home by Monday morning! Guépard had joined our household only ten days earlier, was small, still adapting, and got sick despite all of us trying to keep each other warm cuddling night and day. I caught photos Monday morning of Maxim and Calliope wrapping themselves around their little friend, Guépard, to keep him warm - sensing him feeling cold and poorly. I have never seen anything so sweet! How lucky I felt to capture this beautiful scene on camera! Bengals are wonderfully smart, sweet, affectionate, and funny cats and truly reflect the caring going into their breeding programs when done right. I can personally vouch for Holly's Bengals! WOW! Not only beautiful and stunning cats - but CARING! These pictures prove that, I think. Thank you, Holly, for letting me adopt and enjoy such exquisite creatures! Inge ![]() ![]() It is with tears of joy in my eyes that I say.... Thank You Inge... it is the wonderful new homes like yours that give me a reason to endure the work and heartache of breeding. I am very lucky to have met you Inge... and my kittens are VERY fortunate to be YOUR furry friends. Holly ![]() ![]() |
Look how much he had grown in just one month
The red Maine Coon is "Norman". The Ruddy Somali is "Norton". The black and white domestic tabby is "Alexei". The large tabby Maine Coon is "Shimba". The Bengals are "Maxim and Calliope". |
Maxim and Calliope are healthy, beautiful, and getting me totally hooked on my love for Bengals and them in particular. They're SO special! They sleep with me, and Maxim hoards my lap at any chance. Yesterday, Cat Fancy arrived ! Bengals featured! Guess what? None of those pictured could - in my opinion - match Maxim and Calliope in beauty; a little prejudiced probably; but I tried to be objective. I think both are show quality. They are simply stunning even as adolescents! Thank You, Inge 12-2007 |

It took me a while to figure out what
he big red thing was... it is a cast on his broken leg. I t did not slow
him down much. Bengals are very active and courageous so accidents can happen. but they are also very forgiving and do not get upset over a little thing like a cast on a broken leg. He healed just fine. |
